Set right in the heart of the scenic Somerset countryside, this 17th century farmhouse has been lovingly restored & transformed into a cosy retreat perfect for big family get-togethers. Immerse yourself in the essence of country life as you make yourself at home in both the farmhouse and the cottage. Yep, this place boasts not one but two beautiful buildings for you to settle into – and both are pretty as a picture. From the outside, this home is nothing short of a fairytale. The traditional thatched roof reflect the home's primitive history, meanwhile the climbing wisteria illuminates the yellow stone with a pop of hazy purple. As we make our way through the foliage–bound front door, one thing's for certain – this place is so much more than just a fair front cover. We've gone all doe–eyed for the huge fireplace with wood–burning stove, and we can just imagine ourselves curled up on the snuggly blue sofa on cold winter evenings. This place might have had a nip and a tuck here and there, but it's still got all its original character. From the aged picture windows to the traditional stone floor, those historic features are still firmly intact – and thank goodness for that, because they really are fabulous! We're sure you'll be in no rush to leave your handsome new home–from–home, but If you do fancy a mooch, there are a few local pubs nearby and the orchards and presses of local cider producers are worth seeing, too.

And who can blame them? Rat race relocators are abandoning their crowded commutes, searching for a bucolic idyll. But one where you can still get a decent flat white – that's an absolute must. Follow the creative crumb trail out of East London, and...
